Distribute & Publish Content

Publish your finished content to WordPress, LinkedIn, or add to your content calendar

Once content is researched, written, and refined, Koppla provides a unified interface to distribute it across connected platforms.

Overview

The Universal Publishing system enables users to:

  • Publish to WordPress and LinkedIn from a single view
  • Manage platform-specific settings (categories, tags, visibility)
  • Schedule posts for future publication using the Smart Scheduler
  • Track the status of published content directly from the Activity Feed

Accessing the Publishing Flow

The publishing process can be initiated from multiple locations:

  1. Activity Feed: Select an item and click "Publish" in the action bar or "Generate LinkedIn Post" to create a specific social snippet first.
  2. Content Editor: Click the "Publish" button in the top-right corner of the editor.
  3. Research Studio: After finalizing a draft, use the publish action to send it directly to connected platforms.

Publishing to WordPress

  1. Select Platform: Choose WordPress from the platform selection grid.
  2. Select Site: If multiple sites are connected, choose the destination site from the dropdown.
  3. Metadata:
    • Categories: Select one or more categories to organize the post.
    • Tags: Add relevant tags to improve discoverability.
  4. Schedule or Publish:
    • Publish Now: Posts the content immediately.
    • Schedule: Use the Smart Schedule dropdown to pick a future date and time.

Publishing to LinkedIn

  1. Select Platform: Choose LinkedIn.
  2. Visibility:
    • Public: Visible to everyone on LinkedIn.
    • Connections: Visible only to direct connections.
  3. Preview: (Optional) Use the "Preview" toggle in the Activity Feed to see how the post will look before publishing.
  4. Publish: Click Publish Now (Note: Scheduling for LinkedIn is coming soon).

Managing Connections

If a platform is not listed or a new account needs to be added:

  1. Go to Profile > Account Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Integrations tab.
  3. Connect or reconnect WordPress or LinkedIn accounts.

Before Distributing

Ensure the following:

  • Review content one final time in the Editor
  • Check that all links and references are correct
  • Verify specialty tags and categories are appropriate
  • Ensure content aligns with practice branding

Troubleshooting

  • Missing Categories/Tags? The system automatically fetches metadata when a site is selected. If lists are empty, check internet connection or try re-selecting the site.
  • Publishing Failed? Check the error toast notification for details. Common issues include expired authentication tokens (reconnect account) or network interruptions.
