Overview
Notis is KopplaHQ's integrated workspace where mental health professionals can write clinical notes and educational content, research topics with academic sources, get AI-powered writing assistance, and verify factual claims — all without leaving the editor.

What Notis Does
Notis brings together the core activities of clinical content creation into a single workspace. Instead of switching between a word processor, research databases, and fact-checking tools, practitioners can:
- Write and organize notes with a rich text editor and templates
- Research topics using academic and clinical sources
- Chat with an AI assistant that understands the note's context
- Fact-check clinical claims against peer-reviewed research
- Export finished content as markdown
The Notis Workspace
The workspace is organized into three panels that work together:
Notes List
The left panel displays all notes with search functionality. Create, rename, and organize notes here. The panel collapses automatically when the AI panel opens on desktop, giving more room to write and review.
Editor
The center panel is a full-featured rich text editor built for clinical content. It includes:
- Bubble toolbar for formatting text, headings, lists, and more
- Slash commands for quick access to AI tools and content blocks
- Inline AI completions that suggest continuations as you write
- Templates for common clinical documents like SOAP notes, psychoeducation handouts, and treatment plans
- Export options to download or copy notes as markdown
AI Tools Panel
The right panel houses three AI-powered tools, each in its own tab:
- Research — Search clinical and academic sources, view answers with citations, and insert findings directly into your note
- Chat — Have a conversation with an AI assistant that reads your note, research results, and fact-check findings for context-aware guidance
- Fact Check — Verify clinical claims in your note against peer-reviewed research with detailed verdicts and source citations
On desktop, the AI panel sits alongside the editor for side-by-side reference. On mobile, it opens as a slide-over panel.
How the Panels Work Together
The AI tools panel is context-aware — it reads your current note content and uses it to provide relevant responses:
Write a Note
Draft clinical content, a blog post, or educational material in the editor.
Research a Topic
Open the Research tab to search for academic sources. Insert citations or key findings directly into the note.
Chat for Guidance
Switch to the Chat tab to ask questions about your note. The assistant considers your note content, research results, and fact-check findings when responding.
Verify Claims
Run a fact check to identify and verify clinical claims. Review verdicts and revise any flagged statements.
